Project Director- part-time contract

Contractor shall be responsible for all of the following:
Case Preparation

  • Selects potential cases for review and identifies sources of relevant information
  • Collects necessary documents, reviews materials, and synthesizes information into Case Chronology
  • Identifies Review Team members who will report on the information contained in critical documents

Meeting and Team Management
  • Schedules meetings of the Advisory Board and in conjunction with Chair, sets Advisory Board agenda
  • Sets agenda, makes meeting arrangements, and facilitates monthly Review Team meetings
  • Follows up on any action items generated by the Team discussion
  • Arranges for organization and storage of Review Team materials

Financial and Reporting
  • Maintains accurate and complete records of all Review Team financial activity

Implementation of Recommendations
  • Assists the Review Team in identifying implementation strategies and in preparing and compiling a work plan for each

Outreach and Public Relations
  • Makes presentations, provides testimony, and prepares communications on work of the Review Team, as directed by the Advisory Board
  • Maintains website
  • Prepares and disseminate Team’s Annual Report

Other
  • Supervises volunteers and provides evaluations and feedback

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Detail-oriented
  • Familiarity with the court system
  • Ability to absorb written information from a variety of sources
  • Ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of and/or experience with domestic violence
  • Ability to work with diverse populations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
